Contact detailsFilm Research/Enquiries - Several useful moving image and archive related organisations are listed on the Links page and these may be a good starting point for your research. If you have a specific film research enquiry or are looking for information relating to film or video archive holdings, please contact your regional film archive or the archive most relevant to your research enquiry. Moving History is not an archive in its own right, but showcases the work of the UK public sector archives. Regrettably, we cannot, therefore, help with individual research enquiries, these should be directed towards a relevant archive or related body. Contact details and further information for the UK's twelve public sector film and television archives can be found by clicking on the links below: bfi National Film and Television

About the Moving History Project - The Moving History project was funded between 2001 and 2003 as one of several projects initiated by the AHRB Centre for British Film and Television Studies. The funding for the Centre and its projects has now ended. This site content was produced by staff at the Screen Archive South East based at the University of Brighton, in partnership with the AHRB Centre for British Film and Television Studies. Copies of the project files and resources are now held by the Arts and Humanities Data Service (AHDS) for preservation purposes. The site is now hosted, managed and maintained by staff at Screen Archive South East, at the University of Brighton. Web design was provided by SitebySimon.
