Written documents related to the archive include: 'A Guide to Wessex Film and Sound Archive Collections' (£2.50); and 'Oral History Guidelines' (£2.00) .

Video compilations include tapes on subjects and locations in the region for schools and libraries. Wessex Film and Sound Archive material has also been used extensively in local commercial videos such as 'Southampton in the Past' and 'Bygone Gosport'.
