The archive has partnerships and working relationships with many of the museums, record offices and exhibitors in the region, including Plymouth Museum, the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum in Bristol, the Royal Cornwall Museum, and the Institute for Cornish Studies (part of Exeter University) where they hold a selection of related films from the collection. Exhibitors that the archive has worked with include the Plymouth Arts Centre, Beauford Cinema in Torrington, The Barn Cinema at Dartington Hall, rural touring arts schemes in the South West and Trilith and Somerset Film and Video Unit.

The archive is also a participant in the New Opportunities Funded digitisation project, ‘Applause South West’, which is looking at enhancing online educational access to collections in the South West, through digital archiving in conjunction with Plymouth Library and Information Service, i-DAT, Theatre Royal, Plymouth Learning Links, the City Museum and Plymouth and West Devon Record Office.
