The Archive

The Scottish Screen Archive was set up in 1976 to find, protect and provide access to Scotland's moving image heritage. It is now part of the Collections Department at the National Library of Scotland. The main purpose of the Archive is to locate, preserve and provide access to moving images reflecting Scottish twentieth and twenty first century culture and history.
