Other Partnerships

The archive is actively engaged in access projects and partnerships with organisations across the region including BBC East and Anglia Television, local community projects such as a schools broadband initiative for the networking of moving images in Essex, and the libraries, archives and museums of the East of England. Anglia Television has screened a 10-part series 'The Way We Were' presenting film from the Archive, and a second series is in preparation.

The Archive's staff and volunteers present some 250 film shows a year. Most are given at the invitation of a diverse range of local groups and societies at venues across the region. Series of lunchtime shows are programmed at the University of East Anglia, and at the regional film theatres Cinema City in Norwich, Ipswich Film Theatre and Cambridge Arts Picturehouse.
