The archive has close connections with the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham which annually runs the ‘Out of Sight’ archive film festival. MACE annually contributes a programme of archive film for presentation at the Birmingham International Film and Television Festival. The archive is also working in partnership with the Metro Cinema in Derby and the Phoenix Arts Centre in Leicester. MACE is also currently investigating potential collaborations with the ‘Reels on Wheels’ service in Hereford and Worcestershire to take archive film into the regions, and with the ‘Cinelinks’ project in Lincolnshire which also works to bring film to other areas of the region. The archive aims to work in co-operation with other bodies in the region such as the Lincolnshire and Humberside Film Archive, which produces video compilations of their collection of local films, the Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust, and the Staffordshire Film Archive at the University of Staffordshire.
