Access and Facilities

MACE aims to act as a resource for education at all levels, and as a valuable source of images and information for members of the public, broadcasters and other information professionals. The archive can provide access to materials by prior appointment. Academics wishing to contact the archive should phone and discuss their interests or requirements with the Archivist.

  • Catalogue - The archive's database is still in development but the website provides a selection of clips which give a flavour of the range the archive's holdings.
  • Searching - Researchers should contact the archive by phone, fax or e-mail for further details on holdings.
  • Viewing - The archive has facilities for visitors to view both VHS and film viewing copies of material. Users are again encouraged to contact the archive initially to discuss their enquiry with staff.
